Posted 06/16/2009 Description: This position will provide leadership for both tactical and strategic Procurement activities for both Direct & Indirect spend items that originate from Auxilium corporate headquarters in Malvern, PA. These activities will include evaluating, negotiating, and selecting suppliers; purchasing execution of goods and services; and ongoing supplier management to support both Testim® and AA4500. In addition, this role will support the future role out of SAP to our Malvern site and serve as a SME for the procure-to-pay process. However, the first 6-12 months of this role will primarily support our Indirect Procurement needs at our Horsham, PA manufacturing site as we prepare for commercialization of AA4500. This job requires extensive interdependent partnering, strategic alliance building and collaboration with cross-functional partners, external suppliers, and third party manufacturers.
