Richard M. Dudek has served as Auxilium’s Senior Vice President of Marketing since June of 2011. In this capacity he had marketing and market research responsibilities for Auxilium’s currently marketed products, XIAFLEX and Testim. Mr. Dudek was appointed to the Executive Committee in October of 2011. In conjunction with his appointment, Rich’s scope of responsibilities was expanded to include managed markets/reimbursement and new products planning in addition to marketing and market research Mr. Dudek joined Auxilium from Endo Pharmaceuticals in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania where he was Senior Vice President for the Urology, Endocrinology and Oncology Business (UEO) Unit. In that capacity he had strategic and financial responsibility for the $37 million UEO business unit that included three pharmaceutical products and a combined marketing and sales staff of over 110 individuals. Prior to that Mr. Dudek spent 17 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, now part of Pfizer. His last position was Vice President Sales, Hospital Accounts where he led a 400 member national U.S. sales team with sole responsibility for promoting Wyeth’s $1 billion infectious disease franchise. During his tenure at Wyeth, Mr. Dudek served as commercial head of marketing for Enbrel in Europe and the US, the flagship biopharmaceutical product for Wyeth. Mr. Dudek also served as Executive Director, Healthcare Systems Marketing; Product Director, Rapamune and as a Senior Analyst for Women’s Healthcare Market Planning at Wyeth. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dudek was a senior analyst at the University of Chicago where he played a leadership role regarding various policy and financial issues affecting the University. Prior to that he was a management consultant at Jennings, Ryan, Federa & Company in Chicago, IL. Mr. Dudek started his career as a Staff Pharmacist at Evanston Hospital Corporation in Evanston, Ill. Mr. Dudek holds a Master of Management (M.M.) Degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa. |
