Mission
Auxilium is proud to support investigator-initiated research that advances medical
and scientific knowledge about Auxilium product(s) and the unique diseases that
are treated. Monetary support may be considered for innovative research proposals
with clearly defined objectives and goals. This program is open only to U.S. researchers.
Consideration for support
Support requests should meet the following criteria:
- All drug(s) used in the proposed study should be lawfully marketed in the US.
- Study must have IRB approval as a pre-condition to receiving Auxilium support.
- Generally, research should be completed, analyzed and ready for publication at 24
months.
- Requestor must agree to submit results for publication or presentation after study
conclusion.

Submission and Review Process

- Auxilium will acknowledge receipt of all grant submissions.
- The review process will be conducted by an external grant review committee made
up of medical experts and researchers. The committee’s decisions are based upon
medical and scientific merits as well as available resources and research priorities.
- A formal notification of the status of your application will be sent once a decision
is reached.
